Someone I know was in a band that played at Whisky Bar, the Roxy, Madame Wongs and Gazzarris in the mid 80's. They played alternate Saturday nights at Gazzarris; the band on their off-weeks was called the Sharks, and then changed their name to Shark Island. Any idea how I can find out what other bands played regular gigs at Gazzarris around that time? Thanks,Nicole
August 16, 2010 Email from Greg Russo Betty,
I'm trying to reach Terry Rae (drums), Bob Feldman (bass) and Bruce Turner (lead guitar) of Crystal Circus, who were known as Strawberry SAC at the time. That's one of the groups that was formed by producer Bill Holmes to battle the group he lost control of - the real Strawberry Alarm Clock! I have already found group members Greg Munford, Jack Bielan and Gary Solomon. It's amazing that people are more accessible through all of those sites. http://www.crossfirepublications.com. Thanks again! Greg August 3, 2010 Anyone heard from Steve Lacy (Lacey) (De Lacey) a great
guitarist who did a short stint with Kiss in the late 1970’s. April 5, 2010 Hello, I would love to find my old friends. I loved going to Bido Lito's almost every night. As the years went on I ended up dancing in the cage at The Whisky A Go Go, I was the last dancer. I'll write more later. Peace, Linda aroseappears@hotmail.com March 27, 2010 Email from fan Hi~
